We seal with Bilt Hamber Dynax UB, tested in ASTM-B117 salt-spray chambers — tougher and longer-lasting than lanolin-based products (e.g. Lanoguard). The wax goes inside the cavities where Cambridgeshire's salt and damp do their worst, then a hard-wearing coat protects the surfaces underneath.
