  1. The evening before

    We message you to confirm the plan and a rough arrival time. No vague all-day windows.

  2. The morning of

    A second message with our ETA, so you know exactly when we'll be on your driveway.

  3. On arrival

    A tarpaulin goes down to keep your driveway clean, and the vehicle is safely lifted on axle stands or reversed onto ramps.

  4. During the day

    Most cars take a full afternoon; larger vans and motorhomes can take longer. You carry on with your day — we work around you.

  5. At the end

    We pack up, leave your driveway as we found it, and send you the before and after video of your own vehicle's underside.

    Getting your vehicle ready

    We set up on your driveway — no garage drop-off, no waiting room.

    Remove all undertrays

    Off come the covers so every hidden surface can be reached.

  3. 03

    Before video inspection

    We film the underside as-found, so you see exactly where you started.

  4. 04

    Dry clean to remove debris

    A thorough dry preparation — no trapped moisture under the seal.

  5. 05

    Rust de-scaling

    Loose rust is mechanically removed back to sound metal.

  6. 06

    Cavity wax injection

    The most important step — wax injected inside sills, arches and inner chassis where rust starts.

  7. 07

    Bilt Hamber Dynax UB coating

    A tough, lab-proven underbody coating sealed over the whole underside.

  8. 08

    Final inspection & after video

    We film the finished result so you can see the transformation.

Step 6 · the part that matters most

Cavity wax injection — included as standard

Rust doesn't start where you can see it. It starts inside the sills, arches and inner chassis and works its way out. So we inject wax deep into those hidden cavities — the single most important step in the whole job. Many places charge extra for this, or skip it entirely. We include it on every vehicle.

Why our materials

Lab-proven, not just slapped on

We seal the underside with Bilt Hamber Dynax UB. In independent ASTM-B117 salt-spray chambers — the standard test for rust resistance — it outperformed lanolin-based products (e.g. Lanoguard). So the protection you're paying for is the protection you actually get.

It's a tough, long-lasting coating that keeps doing its job for years, even on gritted winter roads.

The practical stuff

Mess, time, weather, wheels — the things people actually want to know before they book.

Will it make a mess on my driveway?
No. We lay a tarpaulin down before any work starts and clear everything away afterwards. We leave your driveway as we found it.
How long does the whole job take?
Most cars take a full afternoon. Larger vans, 4x4s and motorhomes take longer — sometimes the best part of a day. Because we come to you, there's no garage drop-off eating into your time.
Do you take the wheels off?
As standard we reach what we can with the wheels on. For the most thorough coverage we also offer a wheels-off service, where we remove the wheels and arch liners to treat what others leave covered — just ask when you book.
Do I need to do anything to prepare?
Very little. Just make sure we can get to the vehicle on a reasonably level driveway or hard standing. We message you the evening before and the morning of to confirm everything.
What if it rains on the day?
Light weather is usually fine — the underside is sheltered while the vehicle is lifted. If conditions would affect the finish we'll talk to you and, if needed, rebook for a better day at no extra cost.
How long does the protection last?
Bilt Hamber Dynax UB is a tough, long-lasting seal — most vehicles go several years before a top-up. Our Anti-Rust Care Plan keeps it maintained over time if you'd like ongoing cover.
