Why north-west cars rot
Wet weather and winter grit are a hard combination
Few places in the country are tougher on a vehicle's underside than the north-west. The rain rarely stops, the roads get gritted heavily through winter, and the salt that keeps them moving is the same salt that rots the metal you never look at. Treat it early and treat it properly, and you keep that rot from ever taking hold.

The north-west gets gritted hard and gritted often. Salt thrown across the M60, the M62 and every side road sticks to the underside of your car and eats into bare metal all winter long.
Wet weather that never lets up

What the job involves
Proper protection, not a quick spray
Rust starts inside the sills, arches and chassis — where you can't see it. So we don't just coat the surface. We strip back the loose rust, inject wax into the hidden cavities where it actually begins, then seal the whole underside with Bilt Hamber Dynax UB, tested in ASTM-B117 salt-spray chambers to outlast lanolin-based products (e.g. Lanoguard).
